A DYING SOLDIER

The Church is like a hospital where sick people come to be healed. Don't expect to find perfect people in the Church, "the only place you can find a perfect church is in heaven" (Sam Adeyemi).

Be careful how you judge and criticize people that have either fallen or backslidden at one point or the other. In fact, some people go as far as looking down on them when they summon the courage to come to Church or make them a topic of discussion or even an indirect subject of preaching to the extent that they get more discouraged and take rash decision like not coming to church again. That is even worse but don't forget that the so called "holier than thou" attitude of the so called Christian in the church have pushed them to doing what they did...

Where is the Church that is suppose to be a place of love, succour, refuge and support for wounded soldiers? Have you forgotten that the Christian journey itself is a warfare?

The fact that you are strong and standing now does not give you any right to condemn the wounded or fallen along the way, you are still standing not because you are better than them but because of THE GRACE OF GOD upon you....

Don't drive people away from the fold because of your actions... Remember that when a Lion wants to hunt an animal, especially the ones that moves in group (I.e., a herd) it roars, and its roaring sets the animals running but the target of the Lion is just one animal, it looks for the weak one among them or the one that is injured or the one that is derailed or isolated from the herd and that becomes his prey.

The Lion does not go for the herd because together they can kill it, so also it is with believers, the roaring Lion is like the devil who is going about seeking whom to devour and a Christian that is outside the Fold (Fellowship with fellow believers) becomes an easy prey for the devil to devour...

So please when they come to church instead of killing them and driving them away with your words and actions, please show them love, let them feel and experience warmth and acceptance in the Body of Christ (the Church), let them know that they are not alone, that You care for them... If they don't come probably because of shame, depression or discouragement, please don't wait till they come, Go look for them now and bring them back with LOVE.

A wounded soldier who is left unattended to can be captured by the enemy, shown false care and due to his vulnerability fall into the trap of the enemy....

You may say well that's his business Hmmm🤔, Remember the wounded soldier (The Egyptian, servant to an Amalekite) who was left by his people and later became a weapon that revealed the secret of his 'supposed people' to David and this helped David to get back at the Amalekites all because of the care that David showed him....

Well, you may still say 'it's his life and that's none of my business'....

Really? OK wait o, wait till the person becomes a tool in the hand of the enemy to give strategies on how to bring people in the church down; on how to influence and entice them with the false doctrine and heresies they have received from the enemy; till they start been used by the devil to wreck havoc in the Church of God and turn many away from God OR till they seek the discouraged and wounded people like themselves (who lack the needed care and attention in the Church that will bring them healing and restoration) and turn them away from God and the truth OR wait till you also become a victim OR someone that you have laboured on becomes a victim......Then you will know that it is your business.

Hmm, Believers and Soldiers in God's vineyard and God's House,

It is time to wake up

Wake up ooo before it is too late, before we lose Kingdom Pearls and Treasures to the enemies camp and mind you, once the enemy gets them again, it might be difficult or almost Impossible to bring them back...

Most of them are helpless and are silently crying for help, only if they can find even if it is just one person that will reach out to them lovingly and bring them back to the welcoming hands of other true believers to show them true love.

See the mighty host advancing, Satan leading on, Mighty men around us falling, Courage almost gone....😢

Arise! Arise!! Arise!!!

Oh Soldiers of the Cross,

Make amends where necessary,

Drop the 'holier than thou attitude',

Put on the garment of Love and Humility,

Seek the broken, wounded and lost... The Great Physician did not come for the Healthy, He came for those that are sick to heal them and restore Life to them...

I PRAY that God will open our eyes and help us to see where we've gotten it wrong and to also make true amends and show love, care and help to bring the wounded, shattered, broken hearted, prodigal and Lost Ones Back Home.
