Behind the smile, behind the happy face lies a sad countenance, lies an injured soul, lies a broken heart...

Behind the strong heart, behind the smiling face, behind the jovial person lies a shattered and wrecked emotion.

Will she ever heal? Will she ever be able to forgive? Will she ever be able to love and trust again?

Even when she heals, there are some scars that never go away...

So many unanswered questions, so many unspoken words, so many bottled up emotions, so many broken desires, so many what ifs, so many if only things were done this way....

The feeling of loneliness, sadness, hurt, depression and brokenness all hidden behind the smile..

Behind the smile are heartaches, wearied souls, worn out from the burdens of life...

Behind the smile lies unfulfilled dreams, shattered expectations, disappointments, frustrated efforts, sickness, oppression, pressure from society and loves ones...

Behind the smile, there lies pain, anxiety, fear of the future, fear of what tomorrow holds, fear of the unknown, fear of inadequacies, worries, agitation...

Behind the smile lies a soul that is in tears, tears of broken relationship, tears of barrenness, tears of failure, tears of frustration, tears of defeat, tears of maltreatment, tears of betrayal...

Behind the smile lies a torn marriage, a broken home, domestic violence, a child turned fugitive, hidden pains, secret tears..

Behind the smile lies a dying soul, dying from the blow of depression, the slavery of addiction and terrible habits like pornography, masturbation, the snares of lust, sexual molestation that changes his mindset, suicide thoughts...

Behind the smile lies a dissatisfied soul, an empty soul, a lost identity, trying to live up to the pressure of peoples expectation...

Behind the smile lies a soul that yearns for freedom, freedom from the bondages to which he has been held captive for years..

So many things are hidden behind the smile, so many try to cover it up with a facade, some cover it with make up, some put up a pretence that everything is fine but they are dying inside....

If only someone can see behind the smile...

If only we can stop assuming that everything is fine because the person is smiling...

If only we can hear the call and cry for help of a dying soul....

If only we can extend a hand of love and friendship....

If only we can look beyond the smile and see that it's all a facade....

Little wonder why someone is happy today, jumping, playing, laughing, smiling then suddenly!

The next moment you hear he or she has committed suicide...

I know A PLACE that you don't need to cover up anything...

I know a place that you can lay everything down...

I know a place where you can come just as you are...

I know a place where you can open up everything...

I know a place where you can drop all the burdens and everything that weigh you down...

I know SOMEONE who you can go to and open up everything,

I know Someone who you can tell everything,

I know Someone who knows everything you are hiding behind the smile and loves you in spite of everything,

I know a friend who can heal you and give you a true reason to smile again, I know Someone who takes away the hurt, pains, tears, addiction, brokenness, etc. and fill you with SO MUCH JOY AND PEACE that will make you SMILE GENUINELY AGAIN.

That Place Is The Cross And That Person Is Jesus Christ.

Is there a heart overburdened by sorrow?

Is there a life weighed down by care?

Come to the CROSS each burden bearing

All your anxiety, LEAVE IT THERE!!

All your anxiety, All your cares

Bring to the Mercy Seat leave it there

Never a burden HE cannot bear, Never a friend like Jesus.

Give It All! Give It All!! Give It All To Jesus!!!

Shattered dreams, Wounded heart and broken thoughts...

Give them ALL to Jesus and HE will turn your sorrow into JOY.

BEHIND THE CROSS, you can lay down everything you cover up BEHIND THE SMILE....
