RISE UP

People say that life doesn't always give you what you desire from it.

Life is full of ups and downs.

Life is full of challenges and disappointment.

Life is filled with so much uncertainties and unexpected happenings...

But what do you do when life deals you a fatal blow? What do you do when life hits you so hard that you can hardly remain on your feet? What happens when you are pushed and brought down by life?

How long will you just remain there lamenting, crying and wishing for things to become better? How long will you keep blaming life for its so called "unfairness" and keep pitying yourself?

You have remained on the ground for too long, It is time to RISE UP...

RISE UP and face your challenges, RISE UP to run again,

RISE UP to be who God has appointed you to be,

RISE UP to take your rightful place in life.

Maybe you had so much dreams, plans and aspirations in life, you had family members who had promised to help and assist you but just at the time when you need the person most, it is either the person disappoints you or the cold hands of death snatched the person away and now it looks like ALL HOPE IS LOST and you are finding it difficult to make ends meet and it's like your world has crumbled... Yes , it is very painful but how long will you remain like that, expecting little or nothing from life? IT IS TIME TO RISE UP.

It happened to Joseph, he had great dreams and told it to his family who were suppose to support him but his brothers sold him out into slavery; it is enough reason for him to be dejected but NO, he rose up again, from the Pit to Potiphar's house as a servant and from there to the Prison but he did not give up on himself or God, he rose up to whatever occasion he found himself and gave his best, till he finally got to THE PALACE.

Probably, you were in a relationship with someone who promised to marry you and all of a sudden, the relationship is broken, your fragile heart is wounded and shattered and you remain in that broken state for so long, you shut the door against everyone that wants to come in to be your friend or you are you thinking of going back to a dirty life of sin and becoming worse in your lifestyle not minding what anyone will say or do...

How long will you remain like this?

It's time to move on dear... RISE UP.

Remember Ruth, who lost her husband at an early age without a child, that was enough reason for her to be dejected and give up on expecting the best, it was also enough reason for her to return to her people who worshipped idols due to her mother-in-law's persuasion but NO, she rose up, followed her mother-in-law back to Bethlehem and there she did not lock up herself in the house, she came out, went to the field, started working and there Boaz saw her, God gave her a fresh beginning and also honoured her by giving her the rare privilege of becoming one of the great grandmother of Jesus.

Have you been brought down often by the pains of failure and you have lost all hope of ever becoming someone great in life; Why have you put a full stop where God did not put a full stop in your life? Why have you written off yourself as a failure when God has great plans for your life?

IT IS TIME TO RISE UP...

Remember Jabez, he refused to accept his suppose predicament and rose up to call upon God "And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested."

Are you limited by your background or circumstances around you which is beyond your control? That is not enough reason to stay down, look beyond what you see and look at what God has in store for you through His Word. Why are you looking down on yourself when God has appointed and chosen you as someone who the world will look up to?

Remember Jephthah too, he was rejected by people but God chose him to bring deliverance to them, he had to Rise up to whom God had appointed him to be "Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah. And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman. And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob: And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon. And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead."

Are you backslidden?

Have you fallen into sin at one point or the other and you feel that you cannot get out or rise up again? Have you fallen from such spiritual heights and you feel that the fall is so much and you might never get up or get back to that height again, so you decided to give up on yourself and remain in your backslidden state or you decided to just continue in sin? Why have you given up on yourself when God's Loving Arm is stretched out to you and pleading, waiting and hoping that you will come back home to your Father in Heaven?

Why are you yielding to the devil's deception by thinking that you are beyond remedy? Hear what the Lord is saying to you today "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

Remember the Prodigal Son, he did not remain in his backslidden state, he Rose up and went back to his father, see what he said "I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry."

Don't forget that in this life, challenges will come, some might take you off balance and put your face down to the ground but don't ever give up on God and yourself. Don't allow life's challenges to overwhelm you to the extent that you cannot RISE UP again.

Here the Word of the Lord to you "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again"

So My Brother And Sister, IT IS TIME TO RISE UP FROM WHATEVER THING HAS KEPT YOU DOWN. YOU ARE STRONGER THAN THE PROBLEMS, CHALLENGES AND TROUBLES THAT HAS AND WILL EVER COME YOUR WAY. IT IS NOT OVER UNTIL IT IS OVER. RISE UP, CLEAN UP YOURSELF, MOVE FORWARD, THERE ARE GREATER POSSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU.

"Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake thyself from the dust; ARISE, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion."

RISE UP YE CHAMPION, RISE UP TODAY

RISE UP YE CHAMPION, RISE TAKE YOUR PLACE

THE TOUGH WINS THE RACE, THE BRAVE WINS THE FIGHT, DON'T SETTLE FOR DEFEAT

RISE UP! RISE UP!! RISE UP TODAY!!!

SHALOM.
