THE POWER OF HUMILITY.

Humility, Meekness, Lowliness, Submissiveness are priceless virtues whose price is far above rubies.

Humility is something that is not common, it takes Total Surrenderness and Brokenness to be really Humble.

It is a great sacrifice to be humble and remain humble.

The true test of humility doesn't come when you have nothing, because it is very easy to remain humble when you have little or nothing.

The true test of Humility comes when you have so much, when God has blessed you and set you on high above your equals, when you rarely have need of anything, when almost everything you need is at your beck and call...

Then the big question is:

Will you still remain humble then? Will you pass the test of humility or will you fail it?

Will you not look down on the ones who are not on the same level with you?

Will you despise the poor and make them regret ever meeting you or will you be a Channel through which their long time prayer is going to be answered?

Will you be the joy of many generation by wiping the tears off their eyes or will you be rottenness to their bones because of your actions and how you treat them?

Think Dear Friends, Humility is a hard price to pay when you have enough or more than enough... That's why you need to pray for Grace and deliberately humble yourself.

No wonder Jesus Christ told His Disciples that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Check inwardly, what are your tendencies now? Examine yourself and let God work on you; You need to die daily to the flesh in order to remain humble; you must ALWAYS remember that whatever you have is given to you by God and without HIM you are nothing.

Don't also forget the Foolish rich man that his heart was so exalted and he trusted in his riches but his doom came that night because judgment was pronounced upon him "But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?"

Don't forget king Uzziah in the Bible whom God so much helped but a point came and his heart was lifted up to his own destruction..

" And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong. But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense. And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD:"

Remember Herod, who took the Glory that was meant for God to himself, forgetting that God will never share HIS Glory with any man and instantaneous Judgment came upon him... "And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost."

Don't be too quick to forget Lucifer, "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."....

From time immemorial, God had always resisted the proud and given grace to the humble... But you must be willing to pay the price by first humbling yourself before God so that HE will exalt you in due time... "For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."....

Time will fail me to tell you of great things which have been accomplished through Humility... Judgment was taken away, Life was spared and elongated, people who naturally had no business being in the palace became Kings and Queens through Humility...

"Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD." "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." "And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak." "And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the LORD turned from him, that he would not destroy him altogether: and also in Judah things went well."

HUMILITY IS PRICELESS, it is one of the sacrifices which God cannot despise or reject...No wonder David said that "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit"...

Humility! Humility!! Humility!!!

It has a great reward which comes upon anyone that is truly Humble... Here is how the Word of God puts it "By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life."...

If you want to be truly honoured, you must first discipline yourself to be humble before you can be honoured because this flesh of ours has a way of seeking for Vain glory and the Praise of Man which will end up bringing destruction upon whoever is not careful..."Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility."...

The reward of humility cannot be overemphasized, even Jesus humbled himself and He was rewarded..."And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Now is the time to seek the Lord, now is the time to repent of our pride that we have intentionally or unintentionally exhibited, now is the time to Humble ourselves before the MOST HIGH and ask for Mercy..

"O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing."

Lord, please work on our tendencies and on our weaknesses, we Humble ourselves before You our Father..."Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;".

Have Mercy upon us oh Lord and give us the Grace to Humble ourselves and remain humble no matter what comes our way in Jesus Name. AMEN.

🙏🙏🙏

Shalom.
